This is an organization under development to promote the preservation of wild plants in the United States. It is in the brainstorming stage so if you would like to add your ideas of what the organization should address that other national plant organizations are not addressing, leave a comment below. Wild plants are under siege by many different threats but funding and publicity for animals and natural communities at the state and federal level as well as private organizations, while important, far exceed that devoted to plants. We hope to improve on that record by showing the importance of plants in our lives to increase the funding for wild plant protection projects.
